Here is a very brief overview of my current projects and some of my past experience.

Past Experience...

...includes quite a few of my own mini-projects. My first serious project I started when I was 14, using RPG Maker 2000. I didn't finish this project, but some of the lessons learnt from this program are useful even now.

From there I moved onto level making in the very first version of UnrealEd. I made about 4 maps, and realised I wanted to do this for a living!

Over the next 5 or so years, I basically tried my hand with as many pieces of software as I could lay my hands on, and started teaching myself 3D Studio Max on and off for the two years before going to University.

Currently...

...I am a student in my first year of a BSc Computer Games Technology course at the University of Portsmouth.

The topics covered on this course begin as a range of both 3D Modelling, Multimedia (Photoshop, Premiere, Web Design etc.) and C++ programming. After the first year, we can choose to specialise in 3D Graphics or Programming.

In Future...

...I will be moving into my second year in October (2008), choosing the 3D Graphics route, and hope to further specialise in either 3D Environment modelling and Level Design, or Technical Modelling, such as vehicles, weaponry and other mechnical objects. Working for a big games production house would be my dream job, but as long as I can create things for players to enjoy, I don't mind what I'm doing!
